The Group’s flagship initiative — Rana Exim FZ-LLC, developer of the Erisha Smart Manufacturing Hub — is its most ambitious undertaking yet: a 25 million sq ft integrated industrial and mixed-use ecosystem spanning 335 acres in the Al Ghail Industrial Zone, Ras Al Khaimah.
From electric mobility and agritech in India, to the industrial ecosystem in the UAE, aerospace and space ventures in the USA, and development projects underway in Portugal and beyond, the footprint continues to expand.

Founder & Chairman
Dr. Darshan Rana
Dr. Rana is Chairman & Managing Director of Rana Group and its group of companies. Under his leadership the Group has expanded domestically and internationally into automobiles, agriculture, information technology, aerospace, aviation, satellite-space, e-mobility, hydrogen fuel cell buses, biofuel buses and vehicle charging infrastructure.
He holds an Honorary Doctorate awarded by a European university for his specialisation in elite technologies, business, innovation and international collaboration.
His focus on ESG and the circular economy is the defining feature of the Smart Hub industrial model: he argues that the traditional take-make-dispose linear economy is no longer viable, and uses these projects to demonstrate that industrial growth can be regenerative.

Under the leadership of Dr. Darshan Rana, Team Erisha brings together an elite consortium of world-renowned architects, top-tier contractors, and leading Project Management Consultants (PMCs). Supported by tier-one institutional investors, forward-thinking commercial leasing partners, and global ESG & SDG consultants, this powerhouse alliance ensures the seamless execution of Erisha from foundation to financial fruition.
Forty years of experience on major construction projects worth billions of AED. Leadership roles at Habtoor Leighton Group, Specon KSA, Entire MEP and Al Dhafra Recycling Industries, covering P&L, general management and strategic operational planning.
Development specialist with over 30 years delivering major infrastructure and social-investment initiatives across the UK and UAE. Senior leadership at Emaar Properties, Habtoor Leighton Group, Mair Group and Skanska UK, leading large-scale execution and public-private initiative structures.
